About The Refuge

Welcome to The Refuge Farm- home of some of the finest registered Dexter Cattle in Tennessee.

We are located near beautiful Dale Hollow Lake in Allons, TN, and also have an affiliate farm in Cadiz, KY.

We maintain memberships in both the American Dexter Cattle Association, and the Purebred Dexter Cattle Association.

 Our Goal:

 Our goal is to breed, raise and produce quality Dexters that are PHA and Chondrodysplasia Free, with emphasis on quality rather than quantity.
